CSR
Corporate Social Responsibility
NSL Group is committed to nation‑building through sustained contributions to rural upliftment, community welfare, and eco‑responsible development. In partnership with the Mandava Foundation, our CSR efforts integrate social responsibility across every level of operation and culture.
Core Areas of CSR Focus
Agricultural & Rural Empowerment
- Collaborating closely with village communities, Gram Panchayats, Self‑Help Groups, and Women & Youth Clubs, we implement development programs in areas such as agriculture, animal husbandry, dairy, horticulture, health, education, and livelihood generation.
- We pursue a participatory model—empowering villages until they achieve at least 80% progress on NSL’s social development indicators, after which we transition to a mentoring role and monitor for further guidance.
Sustainable Agriculture Advocacy
- Notably, Nuziveedu Seeds Limited partnered in the CEASI Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) workshop in Karnal, Haryana, promoting DSR's environmental benefits—like methane emission reduction equivalent to 35 lakh tonnes of CO₂ across 1 lakh hectares (~16 crore trees)—while boosting farmer income and ecological health
Education, Skills & Health
- NSL supports rural education, vocational training, and health clinics, particularly through the Mandava Foundation. Programs include school infrastructure, scholarships, and wellness initiatives for marginalized communities.
Crisis Relief & Community Aid
- During the COVID‑19 pandemic, NSL Infratech donated ₹1.5 crore to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and provided essential supplies to frontline journalists.
Environment & Sustainability Certification
- NSL Sugars Limited holds Bonsucro certification—meaning its operations adhere to global environmental, social, and labor standards, including sustainable land use, water management, and fair labor practices.
CSR Governance and Strategy
NSL Group’s CSR initiatives are overseen by a dedicated internal committee, in coordination with the Mandava Foundation, ensuring that programs are deeply embedded in corporate strategy and aligned with community needs. Strategic decisions involve engaging local stakeholders to co-create sustainable development models.
